To recommend some good horror games:

Although it's not very good quality graphics [about ps1 level, haha], American McGee's Alice in Wonderland was definitely a great horror game [for the PC]. My avatar is the Cheshire Cat from the game. [link]

Ahh...there's the game Sanitarium, also for the PC. Not too bad quality [[though I've heard it depends on your computer]]. It really gets your mind going and it made me churn out ideas like no tomorrow...[link])

Have you played Phantasmagoria? It's yet another PC game [I don't own a PS2], but it's really good...it's almost like The Shining, only better, in my opinion. [link])

All three games are psychological horror games. They're also all relatively outdated, but they have intense, dark moods, and decent graphics. Although I think that too much detail makes you a bit pressured to include all or some of them to make it look realistic; you can go a bit towards your own interpretation with these games.

really helpful...though outdated, still pretty good concepts. I didn't even noe they made game through merging real life and 3d(phantasmagoria)...and american mcgee's design is purely psychedelic...i'd wish the new tim burton's take on alice in wonderland would go along this direction, that would b soemthing....btw, here's a link from when i researched on alice....although not super top-notch but still quite good horror art...[link] ...thanks again
